behavior imaging on the Zeiss AxioVision

To test if the dissection scope can be used to image mCherry worms at low magnifications, I tried a couple of settings using the Basler ace-3088-57um and the Dell XPS15 laptop. Interestingly, data rates of 100MBPS via usb3 are no problem on the laptop. Need to test what the max is.

getting camera magnification from Zeiss display

Zeiss displays the magnification on the side of the microscope. This is calculated from the 1x objective and 16x eyepieces. Lowest is 11.8 to 180x. The camera has a 0.5x adapter, which them gives the following equation:

Camera magnification = Displayed Mag/ Eyepiece Mag * Camera Adapter mag = Displayed Mag/32
On-camera magnification (primary magnification = PMAG) ranges from 0.35 - 5.6x.

quick and dirty: using kurtosis I can see pumping events even in the old data. Now need to verify. Using sertotonin and/or GCaMP.
